Ways to Help
Find out how you can support the global body of Christ through ICR’s ministry.
01
Know
One of ICR’s main purposes is to connect the American church with the global body of Christ. We seek to raise awareness of persecuted believers and the faithfulness of God, so that the American church may be encouraged and may minister to the needs of members in our body who are suffering.
3 Steps to Know
1. Sign up for ICR’s monthly newsletter
Learn where Christians are being persecuted, what they face, and how to help.
2. Attend an ICR conference or event
Hear from persecuted believers and ICR field workers personally.
3. Learn their stories
Read stories of hope.
If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
1 Corinthians 12:26
02
Pray
One of the most effective ways to partner with the global church is to pray. ICR desires to see the church fully united in prayer, because our prayers support persecuted believers and often encourage them. All Christians have the ability to pray, and some believers can even start dedicated prayer groups for persecuted Christians with resources from ICR.
3 steps to Pray:
1. Get the monthly prayer calendar
Receive a month’s worth of specific, up-to-date praise and prayer items.
2. Join a digital prayer group via text message
Get texts with timely prayer needs from the field.
3. Share prayer needs at church via a bulletin insert
Share prayer needs with other groups.
[Pray] also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak…
Ephesians 6:19-20

Give
3 steps to Give:
1. Give a financial donation
Give once, every month or on another schedule.
2. Non-traditional giving
Give via an IRA, donor-advised fund (DAF) or other.
3. Share your time or space
Volunteer or offer your space as a venue.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’Matthew 25:35-40

Become
an Ambassador
ICR is actively looking for people and churches who will serve as ambassadors for the persecuted church. As an ambassador, you will be equipped with information and resources to mobilize your sphere of influence to act on behalf of our brothers and sisters in Christ. Ambassadors will mobilize their networks to know, pray, and give in support of our Christian family living under persecution.
