ICR seeks to address the needs of persecuted children in ways that are appropriate in each context. Helping children often involves education. Part of this is simply so they don’t fall behind in school due to displacement or war, but another reason why this support is important is that is builds up future church leaders. A believer with an education may be more equipped to help the church in a country become a stronger voice. Supporting education for children may also be a method to provide jobs as teachers to believers. This gives them income and enables them to influence children away from extremism and toward a loving relationship with Christ.
